What Do We Love About Christmas?

What do we love about Christmas;
Does our delight reside in things?
Or are the feelings in our hearts
The real gift that Christmas brings.

It's seeing those we love,
And sending Christmas cards, too,
Appreciating people who bring us joy
Special people just like you.

Unfortunately this poem is not from me. I found it in the Internet. Nevertheless, I thougt the meaning of it fits as in our english class are a lot of funny special people.

See you, a nice weekend

Dear Christmas Child,
my sister was asked by her mother to draw a black angel. She refused and said: "no Mom, it's not possible because dark angels don't exist!" My mother was wondering and asked her: "why not, Silvia?"
Her reply was the following:
"At the most, black angels are living only in the sky over Africa but certainly not here!" So, there aren't black angels on the christmas drawing as a gift for me.
What do you think about this point of view?
I was very amused about her solution!:-))
(Silvia is 36 years old and has a Down Syndrom)

"Dear Christ child
I wish a Christmas tree with candles and snowflakes from the heaven."
That was the dippest desire of my daughter when she was three years old. Now 16 years later, she will be back from South Africa and her wish for Christmas Eve is just the same.... nothing changed... And we all missed her and are happy to take her in our arms next week.Yeah..
See you, agi

Dear Santa Clause
I'd really like another white Christmas. You see, we go into the forest on Christmas Eve with friends and make a big fire, drink hot drinks and eat freshly baked rolls before going back home for Christmas dinner.

Snow makes the forest a magical place for young and old, and brings back memories of past Christmasses. So if it isn't much trouble, please send a few snowflakes our way, and maybe join us around the fire for a grog and a Christmas carol.

Warm greetings
Illya

Dear Christchild,
I hope you are ready for Christmas.I give my best and try to help you with buying the presents but it is not always that easy. My daughter, for example, likes painting and her wish is a big canvas...ok...either the canvas I bought was too big or our car too small...But I managed to carry this big thing home!
I wish you a relaxed week till Christmas....
